Noriko by Harrisons, Noriko by choice, two trusted names in the Irish Jewellery industry established over generations, combined into a modern Irish company that stands for confidence, quality and unique handmade artistry.
Harrisons, a third generation company in the jewellery trade acquired the Noriko Pearls brand in 2020. John Harrison having grown up in the retail industry under the tutorship of John Harrison senior who was a gemologist and diamond specialist, then continued his career in the wholesale jewellery industry, thereby gaining a unique insight into the jewellery trade in Ireland from various perspectives, knowledge which he is now passing on to his daughter Kim.
Interestingly, Noriko pearls were the trusted pearl brand in Harrison’s jewellers, a brand John would have been used to handling and selling. Noriko was established by the Veselsky family in 1948.
By acquiring the Noriko name Harrison’s have gained a pre-existing loyal customer base and reputation, this has added to the company’s products, enabled expansion and due to the versatility of the Noriko pearls it has allowed us to offer bespoke ranges. Within the industry pearls are graded according to their quality and size: A, AA, and AAA being the most common. All our pearls are fresh water cultured pearls which we offer in three grades of pearls AAA round AA semi-round and A potato.
